[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 28th that the '8th Seeing&Spring Project,' which had been ongoing for over a year, was successfully concluded with an art exhibition featuring 23 adolescent artists with developmental disabilities held on the 21st.
Sponsored by KB Kookmin Card, this exhibition showcased over 30 major works painted by artists with developmental disabilities, attracting significant attention.
The Seeing&Spring Project is an art education support initiative for adolescents with developmental disabilities, sponsored by KB Kookmin Card since 2014. The project’s name reflects the hope to 'see' the potential of these youths and 'spring' as a symbol of their growth as artists.
The beneficiaries of this sponsorship were selected through applications, evaluations, and contests conducted in cooperation with Milal Welfare Foundation, a specialized child and adolescent welfare organization, and related institutions. The selected participants engaged in customized educational programs led by expert instructors in various fields such as painting, design, sculpture, and illustration until the exhibition was held.
