Cultural Differences Exist... Busan Office of Education Hosts the '1st Busan Education Hope Ladder Project'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] An event serving as a ladder connecting the cultural differences between students in Busan and multicultural families was held.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education held the "1st Busan Education Hope Ladder Project" event at 2 p.m. on the 27th in the main auditorium of the Education Office. About 100 people, including parents from multicultural families, attended the event.
The event was jointly hosted by the Busan Office of Education and the Busan City School Parents Association Federation to promote understanding of cultural diversity through multicultural education focused on "emotion," "inclusion," and "positivity," and to foster a social atmosphere of mutual consideration.
The event featured congratulatory performances such as poetry recitations and ukulele performances by students from the Asia Community School, as well as a special lecture to promote understanding of multicultural families.
Additionally, a lecture was given by Jeong Cheol-gyu, a KBS comedian and multicultural instructor, on various cases of multicultural families and the diversity of cultures.
