Books Always by Your Side... Busan Port Authority Achieves Certification as an Excellent Reading Management Workplace for 3 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) recently obtained re-certification as an 'Excellent Workplace for Reading Management in 2022.'
The Excellent Workplace for Reading Management certification program is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Publication Culture Industry Promotion Agency and the National Brand Promotion Agency.
The certification program has been implemented since 2014 to discover reading-friendly companies with learning and culture by creating a reading environment within workplaces and to revitalize reading culture.
BPA created an environment where employees can read books anytime and anywhere by operating an in-house book cafe and introducing e-book services, fostering an organizational culture that communicates through books and grows together.
By obtaining re-certification this year following 2020 and 2021, BPA has been recognized as an excellent workplace for reading management for three consecutive years.
