"Please Meet Me Again" 60s Man Arrested in the Act for Threatening Ex-Girlfriend He Broke Up With
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 60s who threatened his ex-girlfriend to meet him again was arrested by the police.
On the 27th, the Guro Police Station in Seoul announced that they have arrested Mr. A, a man in his 60s, on charges including violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and are currently investigating him.
Mr. A is accused of threatening a woman of a similar age at a restaurant in Guro-gu, Seoul, around 4:30 PM on the 23rd.
At the time, Mr. A reportedly threatened her with a weapon, saying, "If you don't meet me again, I will cut off your finger."
Police, who responded to the victim's report, estimated the crime scene based on phone call records and arrested Mr. A in the act.
