Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority, Recognized as a Leading Community Contribution Company for Two Consecutive Years
YGPA Recognized for Integrated Social Contribution Management System
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 21st that it has been selected as a recognized company for community contribution for two consecutive years by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.
Following its first recognition as a recognized company in 2021, YGPA's diagnostic level rose from L3 to L4 this year, acknowledging YGPA's integrated social contribution management system.
The 'Community Contribution Recognition System' is a program that acknowledges activities contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of local residents and the revitalization of local communities by utilizing human and material resources possessed by private companies or public institutions, thereby promoting community welfare.
In particular, this year, YGPA's social contribution achievements were greatly recognized for sharing and expanding internally and externally, and strengthening the win-win cooperation network, including joining the Fruit of Love Sharing Prestigious Company as the first public enterprise in Jeonnam.
A YGPA official stated, "We will continue to share and expand more win-win cooperation achievements to promote community welfare."
