Gwangju Buk-gu to Host Choir Performance to Experience Autumn Night Romance
On the 31st, the "20th Bukgu Choir" and on the 4th of next month, the "11th Senior Choir"
Regular concerts held at Bukgu Culture Center Performance Hall
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City, is preparing a choir performance where residents can feel the romance of an autumn night through a harmony of emotions and invites residents to attend.
According to Buk-gu on the 27th, the 20th Buk-gu Choir regular concert will be held on the 31st of this month, and the 11th Buk-gu Senior Choir regular concert will be held on the 3rd of next month at the Buk-gu Cultural Center performance hall.
This performance, held for the first time in three years due to COVID-19, was prepared to provide residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and arts and to boost the morale of the choir members.
The Buk-gu Choir performance, conducted by Yoon Young-moon and accompanied by Jo Song-eun, will be held on the 31st from 7:30 PM under the theme of "A Happy Walk."
The stage will be filled with three choral pieces including "Kyrie," "Heal The World," and "Takadamu," as well as various genres of healing music such as "Life," "Mom," and "Father."
The Buk-gu Senior Choir performance, held under the theme "This Is Life," will be conducted by Oh Jun-hyuk with accompaniment by Kim Geun-hyung and will take place on the 3rd of next month from 7 PM.
They will present five choral pieces including "Bongseonhwa," "Longing," and "Mom and Sister," and various musicians such as baritone Jo Jae-kyung, multi-instrumentalist Jo Yoon-jung, and the Conperata Stringent will also perform together to enrich the stage.
Director Moon In said, "This concert will be an occasion to deeply feel the emotions of the deepening autumn night through heavenly harmony," and added, "We hope you spend a romantic time at the performance hall with your family and loved ones on this wonderful autumn day."
