Mokpo Coast Guard Operates Mobile Civil Service Office Visiting Island Villages
Active Administration in Civil Complaints and Legal Consultation, Coastal Cleanup Activities, and Hairdressing Volunteer Services
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Mokpo Maritime Police Station announced on the 27th that it operated a 'Visiting Island Village Mobile Civil Service Office' on the 26th by visiting island villages located within its jurisdiction to serve the underprivileged in island areas.
This event was organized as part of proactive administration, with about 20 staff members and conscripted police officers collaborating with the Jeonnam Social Welfare Council to provide administrative services to residents of the jurisdiction's island areas and carry out various volunteer activities.
On the day, Mokpo Maritime Police visited Yuldo, located in Chungmu-dong, Mokpo City, and conducted ▲ reception and handling of civil complaints such as grievances and system improvements ▲ legal consultations related to maritime (fisheries) matters ▲ household support for elderly living alone, and carried out coastal cleanup activities to preserve a clean marine environment along the shore.
In addition, the Jeonnam Social Welfare Council provided customized services by offering hairdressing volunteer activities to island village residents lacking social infrastructure.
