Dongshin University Selected for Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 'Innovative Convergence Campus Construction Project'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dongshin University (President Lee Juhee) announced on the 26th that it has been selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's '2022 Innovative Convergence Campus Construction Project.'
By 2025, it will receive 3.3 billion KRW in support to establish an innovative convergence campus at the Dongshin University Energy Cluster in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Joint Innovation City to strengthen industry-academia-research cooperation.
To this end, the Department of Information Security, Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Battery Engineering, and the Graduate School's Department of Energy Systems Engineering, Future Energy New Industry IP Convergence Major, and Intelligent ICT Convergence Major will relocate to the Energy Cluster.
These departments will form an organic network with public institutions, companies, and research institutes within the innovation city in the fields of energy, IT, and battery (secondary battery), and focus on fostering regional industries.
