Gyeongnam National University and Masan University Startup Support Center Sign Agreement for Training Smart Factory Specialists

The Smart Manufacturing ICT Project Group of the Ulsan·Gyeongnam Regional Innovation Platform at Gyeongnam National University signed a business agreement with the Startup Support Center of Masan University for the "Training of Specialized Personnel in Smart Manufacturing ICT and Smart Factories."

On this day, the two institutions promised continuous mutual cooperation between universities for the ‘Local Government-University Cooperation-Based Regional Innovation Project’ through the agreement, including ▲ mutual exchange and joint promotion of projects for regional development based on ICT ▲ joint research and development in the smart factory field to nurture talent for the 4th Industrial Revolution ▲ operation of ICT-based curricula.
Jung Min-su, head of the Smart Manufacturing ICT Project Group at Gyeongnam National University, said, “In the upcoming third-year project, education for fostering specialized personnel in smart factories is essential to successfully realize regional innovation that leverages the characteristics of the university,” adding, “As both universities have pledged active cooperation through this agreement, we will strive to expand industry participation and achieve regional innovation at an early stage.”
