[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The reading platform Millie's Library has launched a new section called 'Millie's Discovery,' featuring weekly stories about books intertwined with the daily lives of six individuals closely connected to literature.
According to Millie's Library, the new section is designed in a 'card news' format to help subscribers who are unsure which books to read from the platform's extensive collection of 120,000 titles.
The six curators include a Minumsa marketer, a bestseller editor, a bookstore owner, and an 11-year veteran reading group leader. The first topic is 'MBTI and Beginnings.'
Kim Taehyung, Head of Content Business at Millie's Library, stated, "As the largest reading platform in Korea, Millie's Library provides reading content suited for the digital age while offering meaningful reading experiences and leading a new reading culture. Beyond 'Millie's Discovery,' we will continue to contribute to the sustained growth of the reading population through customized curation reflecting diverse interests of potential readers, such as the recommended books by members of the idol group DKZ introduced this month in collaboration with Genie Music, as well as programs like the 'Millie Dokpa Club' that help build reading habits."
