Korean National Police University Alumni Association Provides Scholarships to 30 Children of Disabled Police Officers

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] The Police University Alumni Association (President Kim Dooyeon) announced on the 25th that it has provided scholarships totaling 30 million KRW to 30 children of police officers injured in the line of duty at the Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
At the event attended by Police Commissioner Yoon Hee-geun, the Alumni Association supported each child of a police officer injured in the line of duty with 1 million KRW. This project began in 2017 by providing 20 children with 20 million KRW, and since 2018, it has expanded to 30 children annually, distributing a total of 170 million KRW in scholarships up to this year.
