Gochang-gun Holds Working Meeting for '2023 Gochang Visit Year'

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun announced on the 25th that it held a working-level meeting on the 24th in the 5th-floor conference room to successfully promote the ‘2023 World Heritage City Gochang Visit Year’.

The working-level meeting, attended by about 30 people including department heads and team leaders from related departments, conducted in-depth discussions on detailed projects and budget directions for the operation of the ‘2023 World Heritage City Gochang Visit Year,’ and held discussions on the main concepts.

The county officially launched the ‘2023 World Heritage City Gochang Visit Year’ and formed a promotion team on the 18th.

The promotion team plans to focus on core strategies such as ▲holding special events and strengthening content for the Visit Year ▲improving tourism infrastructure and hospitality ▲implementing strategic promotional marketing ▲and intensively activating public-private cooperation.

A county official said, “Through the Gochang Visit Year, we will make every effort to build a tourism foundation and infrastructure so that the tourism industry in Gochang-gun, which was stagnated due to COVID-19, can be elevated to the next level.”
