According to Mokpo Coast Guard on the 25th, at around 4:15 PM the previous day, a resident A (female, in her 90s) of Jodo, Jindo-gun, fell at her home, and based on the medical opinion of the health center director suspecting fractures in the nasal bone and cervical vertebrae, a transport request report was received.
The Coast Guard used a stretcher to board A onto a coastal rescue boat at Changyu Port in Jodo and quickly transported her along with a guardian to Seomang Port in Jindo-gun, handing her over to the 119 ambulance team at around 5:13 PM that day.
A, who was transported to the mainland, was moved to a large hospital in Mokpo, where she is currently undergoing precise examinations and treatment for the injured areas.
