According to reports, Oleg Synegubov, governor of Kharkiv, stated, "Russia launched airstrikes across Kharkiv city, including the administrative building, injuring five people." Kharkiv, located in northeastern Ukraine, is the country's second-largest city.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that industrial facilities in the city were hit by missile attacks that morning, and rescue teams are currently assessing the damage. Mayor Terekhov urged residents to exercise extreme caution, saying, "Airstrikes targeting the city continue."
Oleksandr Starukh, governor of the southern Zaporizhzhia region, also reported explosions in the area. Air raid alarms sounded nationwide, including in Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Poltava, and Mykolaiv. Local authorities are notifying citizens of air raid alerts through Telegram.
