Gyeonggi-do Fire Department Transfers Advanced Firefighting Technology to the Philippines
Philippine firefighters visited the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters Comprehensive Disaster Command Center on the 20th to observe the handling of fire-related tasks such as receiving 119 emergency calls.

On the 21st, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced that on the 20th, 13 Filipino firefighting officials visited the Disaster Comprehensive Command Center at the headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, to observe the 119 call reception system and situation management system.
This visit was arranged as part of the "Gyeonggi-do Fire School Disaster Management International Cooperation Training Course" to share disaster response technology and strengthen international exchange and cooperation systems.
The Filipino firefighting officials watched an introductory video of the Disaster Comprehensive Command Center, then examined the entire situation management system from 119 call reception, dispatch orders, to on-site response. Afterwards, there was a Q&A session.
Ma Teresa Alquieza, Chief of the Military Department of the Philippine Fire Department, expressed her visit impressions, saying, "It was a meaningful time to understand Gyeonggi Fire's advanced situation management system."
They will complete the two-week Gyeonggi Fire School Disaster Management International Cooperation Training Course and return to their home country on the 28th.
