Opposition: "Yoon Seok-yeol Prosecutor's Reckless Sword Dance Will Fail"
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] On the 20th, the Democratic Party of Korea evaluated the summons of former Presidential Chief of Staff Noh Young-min and the search and seizure of the Democratic Party Central Office by saying, "The reckless sword dance of the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution will fail."
On the same day, Democratic Party spokesperson Lim Oh-kyung said in a briefing, "The Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution is performing a reckless sword dance to complete the scenario prepared by the Presidential Office. It is a futile gesture hoping to catch even one mistake in the reckless sword dance."
Spokesperson Lim criticized, "Yesterday, under the pretext of search and seizure, the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution raided the opposition party's office and summoned former Presidential Chief of Staff Noh Young-min on the grounds of the repatriation of North Korean fishermen. Is repatriating the heinous murderer who killed 16 crew members a subject of investigation? It is tragic that a reasonable decision made to protect our citizens is being punished."
He added, "The efforts of the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution to summon former government officials on absurd pretexts for political revenge are heartbreaking," and evaluated, "Ultimately, it is to find a justification to investigate former President Moon Jae-in." He also emphasized, "The incompetent Yoon Seok-yeol government, plunged into a total crisis by the Presidential Office's sloppy scenario and the prosecution's reckless staging, cannot hide its failures. We will not tolerate the ploy to cover up the drop in approval ratings and the failures in state administration revealed by the National Assembly audit."
