Jeju Shilla Hotel said that inquiries about the heated pool increased by more than 10 per day from the first week of October when the temperature suddenly dropped. It explained that as an early midwinter cold wave swept across the country, more people wanted to spend a warm vacation.
Jeju Shilla Hotel, which introduced the first year-round heated pool in Korea, operates the outdoor swimming pool until midnight, the latest time among luxury hotels in the Jungmun area. It promotes "Moonlight Swimming," where guests can enjoy swimming under the moonlight. The water temperature of the pool is maintained at an average of 32 degrees Celsius, and the outdoor Sumbi Jacuzzi is kept above 42 degrees Celsius. The "Family Pool," connected to the indoor swimming pool, and the "Adult Pool," available only to those aged 19 and over, are equipped with heated sunbeds, cabanas, and other resting spaces. The Finnish-style sauna next to the pool has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, allowing guests to relax warmly while enjoying the scenery.
Jeju Shilla Hotel also offers unique experiences that can be enjoyed at the outdoor swimming pool. From 5:30 PM daily, for two hours, the "Sunset Floating Music" event allows guests to listen to jazz music while watching the sunset. After the jazz time ends, the "Family Pool" transforms into a concert venue. From 7:30 PM for about two hours, guests can enjoy "Autumn Live Music," which features famous romantic pop songs perfect for autumn days.
