"Cheering for All Nationwide CSAT Examinees"... Gyeongbuk High School Seniors Produce Song
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Gyeongbuk Office of Education announced on the 19th that it uploaded a college entrance exam cheer song created by third-year high school students in the Gyeongbuk area to the YouTube channel ‘Matkul Meotkul’ about a month before the College Scholastic Ability Test.
The cheer song was created through the talent donation of third-year high school students in Gyeongbuk to support high school seniors nationwide who are going through a difficult time during their exam preparation period.
The original song of the cheer song, Butterflies by Love Holics, is included in the OST of the movie ‘National Team’ and features lyrics that symbolize the transformation from silkworm to butterfly. The song conveys the hope that examinees will spread their wings and face the sky boldly and freely.
More than 30 third-year high school students from 23 cities and counties in Gyeongbuk participated in the production by playing instruments and singing individually at their homes or schools.

Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Gyeongbuk Office of Education, said, “It is even more meaningful that students from 23 cities and counties voluntarily participated in the production,” and added, “I hope that through the cheer video created by the third-year students themselves, they can find comfort for their anxious and difficult hearts and do their best without regret during the remaining period to achieve good results in the exam.”
