SK CEO Seminar Held for Three Days in Jeju... Discussing Strategies for Inflation, Interest Rates, and Exchange Rates
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jung] The '2022 CEO Seminar,' where all CEOs within the SK Group gather, will be held for three days starting from the 19th at the Jeju Dianex Hotel.
The CEO Seminar is an annual event held by SK Group to devise management strategies. This year's seminar will be attended by over 30 key executives, including SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, SK Group Senior Vice Chairman Chey Jae-won, SK Discovery Vice Chairman Chey Chang-won, and SK Supex Council Chairman Cho Dae-sik. Executives unable to attend in person will participate via video conference.
At the CEO Seminar, SK Group executives will analyze economic environment variables such as inflation, exchange rates, and interest rates, and discuss response strategies accordingly.
Additionally, following the expanded management meeting in June, they will explore ways to establish a management system for sustainable corporate value creation. In particular, the seminar will focus on discussing measures to improve organizational structure towards the 'SK Management System 2.0' as requested by Chairman Chey Tae-won.
Since the 2016 CEO Seminar, SK Group has made the continuous practice of 'Deep Change' (fundamental innovation) a key theme, discussing social value creation, happiness management, and financial story.
