The Neighborhood BIFF is a citizen participation event where the Busan International Film Festival sets up screens throughout the city during the festival period, and local residents participate as a community to support the operation of the festival. This year, it was held at 17 locations in 16 districts and counties across Busan.
About 20 students from the Department of Digital Contents and the Department of Film Studies at Dong-Eui University participated in the 27th Busan International Film Festival Neighborhood BIFF through the Link 3.0 Project Group's working group (WG)-based extracurricular program.
The participating students were involved in all aspects of event operation, including preparation and cleanup of film and performance events, and guiding audience entry.
Dong-Eui University students who participated through prior application completed an orientation and were assigned to nearby event venues such as Dadaepo Beach Park in Saha-gu, Songdo Ocean Park in Seo-gu, Oncheoncheon Citizen Park in Yeonje-gu, and Baekyang Neighborhood Park in Buk-gu to participate in event operations.
