Gyeonggi Office of Education, Single-Use Plastic Reduction Comment Event
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold an event called 'Commenting on Actions to Reduce the Use of Single-Use Plastics' to spread a culture of carbon neutrality practice among students in the province until the 4th of next month.
This event is designed to derive specific practical methods to create schools without disposable products for elementary, middle, and high school students in the province, and it will be conducted through the 'Climate Action 1.5℃ App' created by the Ministry of Environment.
The Gyeonggi Office of Education plans to reflect the opinions proposed by students in the establishment of next year's Gyeonggi ecological transition education policy.
Students who wish to participate can join the 'Climate Action 1.5℃ App,' enter the event menu, get student certification from the Gyeonggi Office of Education, and then leave comments on carbon neutrality practice methods.
