Fire at Daewunsan in Yangsan City, 50 Pine Trees Burned
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] On the 16th at around 3:48 PM, an unknown cause fire broke out at Daewoonsan Mountain in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, burning a forest area.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the 17th, the fire was extinguished at around 6:30 PM that day, with four wildfire suppression helicopters and about 30 firefighters deployed at the scene.
The fire destroyed 50 Korean red pine trees (Rigida sonamu) and turned 0.1 hectares of forest land into ashes.
