Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Opens 'Gyeonggigan' at Singapore Expo... Over 200 Consultations Conducted
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is participating in 'ITB Asia 2022,' Asia's largest MICE expo held in Singapore, and is conducting aggressive face-to-face marketing.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that it will establish and operate a Gyeonggi-do exclusive promotional booth at the 'ITB Asia 2022' venue from the 19th to the 21st of this month.
ITB Asia is Asia's representative MICE event held annually in October in Singapore since 2008. This year's event will be held face-to-face for the first time in three years since 2019. The event features exhibitors from 127 countries and invites over 1,300 buyers.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization has set up a Gyeonggi-do exclusive promotional booth inspired by Imjingak and is participating with 13 institutions from the Gyeonggi Tourism MICE Alliance, including Suwon Convention Center, Pangyo Gravity, Siheung Wave Park, and Goyang Sono Calm, conducting 200 consultations with overseas buyers.

Lee Dong-ryeol, Head of Business at the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, said, "We planned to participate with a Gyeonggi-do exclusive promotional booth to promote Gyeonggi-do's unique MICE identity to overseas MICE industry professionals," adding, "We will strive to revitalize the MICE industry by responding swiftly to the rapidly recovering MICE industry trends after COVID-19."
