[Photo] Korea Forest Service, Ministry of Land, Seoul City, and Public Administration Agency Join Hands to Promote Wooden Architecture
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 13th that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for the Promotion of Wooden Architecture" with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Administrative City Construction Agency at COEX in Seoul. According to the agreement, the Korea Forest Service and others will promote institutional improvements, pilot projects, and technology exchanges to activate eco-friendly wooden architecture in Korea. The core of the agreement is to increase carbon storage in the forestry sector and reduce carbon emissions in the construction sector.
