[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Jeong Jong-bok, the mayor of Gijang-gun, participated in the online campaign to eradicate child violence (END violence) on the 12th, upon the nomination of Kim Jae-yoon, the mayor of Geumjeong-gu.
The campaign, under the slogan "Stopping violence starts with our attention," is jointly conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNICEF with the purpose of actively responding to physical and mental violence situations targeting children and adolescents.
Jeong Jong-bok, mayor of Gijang-gun, said, "We must spare no effort to protect children from all forms of violence," and added, "To eradicate violence against children, we all need to pay attention."
