Yeogyeonghyeop and Coupang Collaborate to Promote Women-Owned Businesses and Expand Sales Channels: "Win-Win Planning Exhibition Operation"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association and the online e-commerce platform 'Coupang' have joined forces to promote products from women-owned businesses and expand their sales channels.
On the 12th, the Women Entrepreneurs Association signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Coupang at the association's headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, to hold a win-win promotional event for products from women-owned businesses. This agreement was established to discover outstanding women-owned business products, increase consumer awareness through mutual cooperation, and contribute to sales growth.
The main contents of the agreement include △ promotion, information provision, and implementation of win-win cooperation projects targeting women-owned businesses △ support for advertising and marketing to boost sales of women-owned business products, exposure of promotional banners, and operation of win-win promotional events △ active consultation on supporting online sales channels for women-owned businesses.
Park Dae-jun, Head of New Business Division at Coupang, said, "Through this agreement, we expect to support the development of distribution channels for more than 63,500 women-owned businesses nationwide and create synergy with the association to increase sales for participating companies."
