According to a summary of Asia Economy's coverage on the 12th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is currently investigating a woman in her 20s, identified as A, on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act around 9 p.m. the previous day.
A is suspected of leaving a zipper bag containing methamphetamine on the back seat as she got off the taxi upon arriving in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The taxi driver, suspicious of the drug-like substance, reportedly reported it to the police.
According to the police, A is currently denying the charges of drug use.

A police official stated, "A was voluntarily taken for a first investigation and then sent home," adding, "She is expected to be called again for further questioning."
