According to industry sources on the 11th, Executive Director Kim married Ms. A, a former general programming channel reporter, earlier this year. After transferring from Hanwha Energy to Hanwha Hotels & Resorts in May last year, Kim has been in charge of the overall leisure business and is leading new business initiatives in Hanwha Group's Galleria division.
Moreover, with Hanwha planning to spin off the Galleria division of Hanwha Solutions and newly list Hanwha Galleria in March next year, there is analysis that the succession structure has been effectively finalized with Kim taking charge of the hotel, resort, and distribution sectors. Recently, Kim attracted attention by bringing "Five Guys," known as one of the top three burger chains in the U.S., to Korea.
