LG Whisen commercial system air conditioners connect multiple indoor units to a large outdoor unit. They are mainly used for four-season heating and cooling in medium to large buildings such as offices, schools, shopping centers, apartments, medical, and lodging facilities. The new MultiV i model features a high-performance AI engine software based on an application processor (AP) used in smartphones and computers.
Through the AI engine, MultiV i supports ▲‘AI Indoor Space Care,’ which automatically controls multiple indoor units in one space individually to maintain a uniform temperature throughout the entire area ▲‘AI Energy Customized Control,’ which operates automatically according to the user-set energy consumption target ▲‘AI Smart Care,’ which saves electricity by reducing power when no one is present and adjusting cooling strength according to the situation ▲‘AI Smart Diagnosis,’ which allows real-time monitoring of the outdoor unit’s heating and cooling performance, refrigerant, communication, and other product statuses via smartphone functions.
Like the existing model ‘MultiV Super5,’ MultiV i is equipped with core components such as an inverter compressor developed independently by LG Electronics, applying various new technologies to deliver excellent heating and cooling performance and efficiency. It optimizes cooling operation not only based on temperature but also humidity, saving energy while maintaining comfortable indoor air quality.
Energy efficiency has improved by up to 7.2% compared to the MultiV Super5 in the 16-horsepower class. For the 24-horsepower class, installation area and weight have been reduced by 13% and 10%, respectively. The energy consumption efficiency is rated Grade 1.
LG Electronics’ Whisen system air conditioners also boast outstanding AI quality. Last year, LG Electronics became the first in the system air conditioner industry to receive the ‘AI+ (AI Plus) Certification’ from the Korea Standards Association, recognizing the reliability of the AI technology embedded in its products.
Maintenance and management functions are also convenient. Users can remotely upgrade software by accessing a separate system without requiring a service engineer’s visit. Through the LG ThinQ app on smartphones, users can operate heating and cooling functions remotely and check real-time data such as power consumption, indoor temperature, and humidity.
