'Smart Mobility Logistics' Industry Expo Opens at COEX from the 12th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 11th that it plans to hold the "Smart Mobility Logistics Industry Exhibition" for three days from the 12th to the 14th at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, in collaboration with the Korea Expressway Corporation and COEX.
Held for the first time this year, the exhibition is a specialized event in the road, transportation, and logistics industry sectors under the theme "Digital On Your Way." It will feature a total of 150 booths with participation from 50 organizations including the Gyeonggi Autonomous Driving Center, Korea Railroad Research Institute, Amazon Web Services (AWS), government bodies, local governments, research institutes, and related companies.
In particular, the exhibition plans to showcase a variety of new products and technologies for innovation in the road, transportation, and logistics industries, including ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), autonomous driving, smart road design and construction, UAM (Urban Air Mobility), smart logistics, and automation, all in one place.
Additionally, during the event, side events such as policy seminars and conferences involving experts and workers from industry, academia, research, and government will be held.
The policy seminar, themed "Smart Mobility and Future Road Changes," will take place on the 12th. It is designed to facilitate information exchange and discussions on the future directions of road changes in response to the recent issues surrounding smart mobility technology and environmental changes.
The conference, under the theme "Smart Mobility and Logistics Industry Innovation Strategies in the Era of Digital Transformation," will be held from the 13th to the 14th. On the 13th, in-depth discussions will focus on the smart mobility industry, and on the 14th, on the smart logistics industry.
This exhibition will be held concurrently with the "2022 Green Business Week," hosted by the National Assembly Hydrogen Economy Forum. Detailed information about the exhibition, seminars, and conference attendance can be found on the exhibition website.
