Gochang General Industrial Complex to be Renamed Gochang New Vitality Industrial Complex

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeonbuk Gochang General Industrial Complex will change its name to ‘Gochang Shin-Hwalryeok Industrial Complex’ based on the majority opinion of the county residents.

The county announced on the 7th that the survey results for changing the name of the Gochang General Industrial Complex finalized the name as ‘Shin-Hwalryeok Industrial Complex’ and will proceed with the name change.

Residents hoped to boldly discard the existing industrial complex name and express a future-oriented vision and brand value.

The new name of the Gochang General Industrial Complex will be included in the ongoing ‘Gochang Industrial Complex Plan’ amendment application and submitted to the approval authority, Jeollabuk-do, in the second half of the year.

After the approval and notification procedures are completed, the name change to ‘Gochang Shin-Hwalryeok Industrial Complex’ will be finalized.

Starting with this name change, the industrial complex will transform into an ESG-friendly eco-industrial complex.

In particular, it will maximize the advantage of being an optimal logistics hub directly connected to the Seohaean Expressway and Honam Expressway.
