[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Four Seasons Hotel Seoul announced on the 4th that it has launched a gluten-free cake called 'Tasty Palette,' themed around the environment and wellness, in collaboration with the New York premium cosmetic brand Chantecaille.
This collaboration was planned to make each other's anniversaries more meaningful, with Four Seasons Hotel Seoul considering a sustainable future and the vegan-friendly beauty brand Chantecaille actively supporting endangered animals. Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is celebrating its 7th anniversary since opening, and Chantecaille is commemorating the 2nd anniversary of its bestseller and famous product 'Future Skin Cushion,' which donates one bottle of coconut milk for African orphan elephants for every product sold.
The hotel's executive patissier Jimmy Boulay completed the 'Tasty Palette' cake inspired by ingredients favored by African elephants. Domestically grown figs were used as the main ingredient, and gluten-free flour was included. Instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners, acacia honey and coconut were utilized. The cake is filled with a yogurt mousse combining the refreshing flavors of lemon juice and lime zest on a crispy tart, layered with crumble, acacia honey sponge, and fig compote to deliver a rich texture and flavor.
Customers who purchase the cake will receive a discount voucher worth 20,000 KRW usable at the official Chantecaille online boutique, one per cake. Customers who reserve a whole cake at least 48 hours before the pickup date will receive a trial kit of two of Chantecaille's best products worth 35,000 KRW as a first-come, first-served gift.

The cake will be available from October 1 to November 24 at the hotel's first-floor 'Confections by Four Seasons' and 'Maru.' A portion of the sales proceeds will be donated through Naver Happy Bean to support activities for environmental protection.
