Imsil-gun Creates Gujeolcho Hill at Cheese Theme Park
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] The entire area of Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, is being vividly colored with autumn flowers.
On the 30th, the county announced that it had created 1,129 flower boxes and 9 flower beds around roundabouts and city streets as part of the seasonal flower planting project to welcome autumn.
Through this seasonal flower planting project, chrysanthemums, which represent autumn, were planted along major roads and intersections in Imsil to create a street environment that reflects the seasonal change.
In particular, the circular flower beds on traffic islands improve visibility for drivers and breathe life into the bleak road environment by planting various flowers, thereby enhancing the quality of life.
At the Imsil Cheese Theme Park, where the Cheese Festival is held, visitors can enjoy not only ten million chrysanthemums but also more abundant and beautifully arranged gujeolcho (Aster yomena) in time for the Imsil N Cheese Festival.
A gujeolcho hill was created behind the Wind Hill located at the Cheese Theme Park observatory and the survival game field to provide tourists with abundant sights and beautiful healing scenery.
The gujeolcho hill around Wind Hill offers a beautiful landscape with pure white gujeolcho flowers harmonizing with colorful chrysanthemums and evergreen pine trees.
Additionally, the Cheese Theme Park provides benches along the walking paths between pine trees and at the observatory, offering a comfortable green resting place for visitors.
The Imsil N Cheese Festival, which will be held for four days starting from the 7th of next month after three years, has created a new tourism trend called "Autumn at Imsil Cheese Theme Park," attracting over 500,000 tourists on weekdays and weekends regardless of the festival.
The large number of visitors is largely attributed to the reputation of the Imsil N Cheese Festival, which has been held since the 6th local government administration, and the increasingly beautiful and detailed chrysanthemum flower scenery each year.
The Imsil N Cheese Festival is expected to offer families and couples visiting the theme park enjoyable autumn memories with fairy-tale-like scenery and various experiential programs.
County Governor Shim Min said, "When the Imsil N Cheese Festival is held in autumn, visitors to the county are captivated by the beautiful scenery of chrysanthemums and other flowers," adding, "With the addition of the gujeolcho hill, the rich and diverse floral feast and the joy of watching the festival will be enhanced, engraving an image of Imsil that everyone wants to visit again."
