KOSPI Index Falls Below 2200 During Trading Session
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] The KOSPI index fell below the 2200 mark on the 27th.
As of 2:39 PM on the same day, the KOSPI index was recorded at 2198.60, down 21.46 points (0.97%) from the previous day. The index started trading at 2224.39, showing a slight rebound, but turned downward due to foreign selling pressure.
At this time, foreigners are net sellers worth approximately 217.5 billion KRW, while individuals and institutions are net buyers of about 103.4 billion KRW and 93.1 billion KRW, respectively.
The KOSDAQ index is also trading down 9.44 points (1.36%) at 682.98. Individuals and foreigners are net sellers of approximately 65.3 billion KRW and 11.3 billion KRW, respectively, whereas institutions are net buyers of about 74.8 billion KRW.
