Professor Lee Seung-kwon of Chosun University Opens 'Travel Humanities' Course
Free Classes for Everyone on 29th and 30th at Gwangju Cultural Foundation's Small Arts Library

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The second humanities lecture of the second half of the year at the Gwangju Cultural Foundation's Culture and Arts Small Library will be held twice at 10 a.m. on the 29th and 30th under the theme of 'Travel Humanities.'
According to the Gwangju Cultural Foundation on the 27th, this lecture, held for two hours each day over two days on the 2nd floor of Bitgoeul Art Space, will be conducted by Professor Lee Seung-kwon of the Department of Global Business Communication, Global College of Humanities, Chosun University.
Professor Lee is researching the role of citizens in becoming a truly cultural city based on his studies while visiting over 20 European Capitals of Culture.
He is also focusing on urban space issues to apply the strengths of cities designated as European Capitals of Culture, such as those in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy, to cultural cities in Korea.
Through this lecture, he plans to share, from a traveler's perspective, the harmonious life of nature, city, and people, as well as the functions of the city in Provence, southern France, where he studied abroad.
The number of participants is around 15, and any local resident (adult) can apply and participate free of charge.
Those wishing to apply can register on a first-come, first-served basis by visiting the Culture and Arts Small Library or by phone until the 29th.
