The Ulsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Director Kim Jun-hwi) and the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director Jeon Sang-heon) held the “7th Industrial Safety and Health UCC Contest” and held an awards ceremony for outstanding works on the 23rd to share safety and health knowledge in industrial sites and spread best practices.
The UCC contest is an event to discover and spread excellent safety and health activities and systems of companies. It has been held annually since 2016, hosted by the Ulsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
At the awards ceremony of the Ulsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor on this day, the grand prize went to a work titled “Dear Dad, Are You Working Safely?”
LS-Nikko Dongje Ryeon Co., Ltd., which calmly introduced the safety system in the daily life of a father who went to work, won the award. The excellence award went to Hanwha Impact’s “Absolute Safety Rules Soullessja Parody,” and one work received the merit award, two works received the encouragement award, and 15 works were selected for honorable mention.
The winning works were posted on YouTube by the Ulsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Angel so that many companies can refer to safety and health activities.
Kim Jun-hwi, director of the Ulsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, said, “This year, with the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act and increased public interest in industrial safety, all the contest entries well introduce the importance of safety culture by combining fun and knowledge.”
