KOSPI Starts Slightly Lower, Declines Further... Down 0.59%

As of 9:35 a.m. that day, the KOSPI index stood at 2318.66, down 0.59% (13.65 points) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 2331.33, down 0.04% (0.98 points) from the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals were the sole net buyers with 113.8 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions were net sellers of 83.9 billion KRW and 32.5 billion KRW respectively.
Among the top 10 market capitalization stocks, all except Samsung Electronics (0.74%), Samsung Electronics Preferred (0.20%), and NAVER (0.73%) were declining. These include LG Energy Solution (-3.48%), SK Hynix (-0.47%), Samsung Biologics (-0.76%), LG Chem (-2.24%), Samsung SDI (-3.18%), Hyundai Motor (-0.78%), and Kia (-1.01%).
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index was at 745.98, down 0.72% (5.43 points) from the previous trading day. The KOSDAQ opened at 749.87, down 0.20% (1.54 points).
Individuals were buying stocks worth 111.2 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions sold stocks worth 105.1 billion KRW and 0.3 billion KRW respectively.
Among the top 10 KOSDAQ market capitalization stocks, all except HLB (2.62%) and JYPEnt. (0.50%) recorded declines. These include EcoPro BM (-3.61%), Celltrion Healthcare (-2.31%), L&F (-2.95%), Kakao Games (-1.70%), EcoPro (-0.64%), Pearl Abyss (-3.10%), Celltrion Pharm (-2.45%), and Alteogen (-3.33%).
