The Youth Network was formed by publicly recruiting a total of 42 young people aged 19 to under 39 who reside or are active in Jinju City, serving as a communication channel connecting Jinju City and the youth.
The second group was formed in January this year and is currently active as a youth representative communication body that proactively discovers and proposes youth policies related to the lives of young people.
The youth committee members who attended the meeting asked broad questions about expanding youth employment, improving job quality, revitalizing cultural and artistic activities for a city where young people want to stay, and youth welfare.
In response, Mayor Jo said, "We are promoting a youth-friendly city where young people want to work, enjoy, and stay," adding, "We are on track to create a 'future industrial city' overflowing with quality jobs so that young people do not have to leave for other regions in search of employment."
