SPC Baskin-Robbins Reveals Winning Stories of the 'Ice Cream Contest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC Group's Baskin-Robbins has launched three new products (Naega Einspanner?!, Kkkk, Janmang Strawberry) as winners of the '2022 Ice Cream Contest.'
In the 2022 Ice Cream Contest held by Baskin-Robbins last March, 80,000 people applied, and a total of 520,000 people participated in the voting.
The first-place winner, Naega Einspanner?!, was created by a second-year middle school student who wished, "I hope there was a coffee-flavored ice cream I usually like at Baskin-Robbins." The second-place winner, Kkkk, which uses coffee, caramel, and cocoa as main ingredients, was proposed by a 21-year-old university student known as a 'Bara fan.' The winner stated, "I wanted to create a chocolate-flavored ice cream that would give the same happy feeling as eating 'Mom is an Alien,' which I have loved since I was young." The third-place winner, Janmang Strawberry, was planned by a third-year middle school consumer who was inspired by the popular character 'Janmang Loopy' among friends, combining strawberry and milk chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup.
