Boseong-gun Holds 2023 New Policy Report Meeting

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] On the 22nd, Boseong County, Jeollanam-do announced that it held the 2023 New Policy Report Meeting chaired by County Governor Kim Cheol-woo in the small conference room of the county office.

At the report meeting, new policies to be newly promoted next year were discovered to prepare new growth engines for Boseong and improve the quality of life of residents, and focused inspections were conducted on the linkage promotion plans of the 120 national tasks and core projects of Jeollanam-do.

A total of 88 new policies were discovered, with a total project cost of 257.4 billion KRW. Boseong County plans to apply the discovered new policies to ‘Dasi Ttwineun Boseong 3·6·5’ (Boseong Running Again 3·6·5), which is a priority of the 8th elected government, and start full-scale promotion from 2023.

Notable policies include ▲support for dentures and implants for low-income elderly ▲drone spraying of organic fertilizer for tea trees ▲operation of a drone spraying project group for young farmers ▲construction of dormitories for young and foreign workers ▲Boseong-type senior job projects ▲support for livestock manure composting ▲carbon-neutral green talent cultivation, and heated discussions were held on project feasibility and securing project costs.

Governor Kim Cheol-woo said, “The projects discovered at this report meeting will be the starting point of Boseong running again,” and urged, “I hope you will promote policies in depth to create a new Boseong running again together with the residents.”

Meanwhile, the county plans to select highly feasible policies among the new policies, thoroughly review the appropriateness of the required budget and promotion plans, and reflect them in the 2023 budget compilation and major work plans.
