Samsung Asset to Pay Monthly Dividends for Two Overseas REITs ETFs
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] On the 22nd, Samsung Asset Management decided to pay dividends monthly for two overseas REITs (Real Estate Investment Trust) exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
On the 22nd, Samsung Asset Management changed the dividend payment method for the 'Samsung KODEX Dow Jones US REITs (H) ETF' and the 'Samsung KODEX TSE Japan REITs (H) ETF' accordingly.
This is a measure to maximize investors' utility. Samsung Asset Management stated, "this decision was made to meet the demand of investors who want to receive cash flow regularly amid increasing market uncertainty due to recent US interest rate hikes and global economic recession concerns."
Initially, these products reinvested all dividends generated without paying out dividends after listing, but from this month, the last business day of each month will be the ETF dividend payment record date. The first dividend payment is expected to be made early next month.
