Jeongyukgak and Chorokmaeul Relocate Headquarters to Dosan Building in Nonhyeon-dong
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Food tech startup Jeongyookgak announced on the 22nd that it will relocate and expand to the Doosan Building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu next month. The building has 4 basement floors and 20 above-ground floors, and Jeongyookgak plans to lease and use four of these floors.
Jeongyookgak, based on IT technology-driven manufacturing capabilities, has internalized distribution and logistics stages to operate a fresh food e-commerce business, recording annual sales of 40 billion KRW last year and showing growth. About two years after moving its headquarters near Sinnonhyeon Station in 2020, the company decided to relocate due to business expansion.
Jeongyookgak is characterized by vertically integrating stages from manufacturing to logistics, with members from diverse backgrounds collaborating together. The new office will be designed with specialized workspaces for each member, equipped with seminar rooms and lounges of various sizes, as well as spaces for product development and filming.
Employees of Chorokmaeul, a specialist in eco-friendly organic products, will move next month as soon as their current space is cleared. By as early as October, about 300 employees, including those from Jeongyookgak, are expected to start working in the same space, concentrating business capabilities in one place to explore various opportunities.
