Financial Security Institute Hosts Seminar at Korea Fintech Week
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] The Financial Security Institute announced on the 22nd that it will hold a Financial Security Seminar at 1 p.m. on the 29th at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, as part of the 'Korea Fintech Week 2022' event hosted by the Financial Services Commission.
This seminar, themed on financial security strategies for successful digital innovation in finance, will feature industry-academic experts from the Financial Security Institute, Oracle, Chung-Ang University, and others analyzing cyberattacks and security threats related to digital innovation technologies such as cloud, metaverse, and NFT, presenting best practices and response measures.
Oracle will review principles of data protection and compliance in the cloud and introduce best practices for cloud security. Chung-Ang University will present research results on the 'Meta-Security Framework,' which addresses security issues in the metaverse and meets necessary requirements. The Financial Security Institute will analyze NFT-related breach incidents and explore measures for the safe use of NFTs, as well as present analysis results on credit card information theft using POS malware and the distribution of credit card information through the dark web.
