The Smart Indoor Spatial Information DB Construction Project is a project to build the indoor structure of buildings in 3D, which has been promoted since 2020 targeting multi-use facilities and facilities for the elderly and children through hiring and training local youth.
According to the province, the constructed 3D building data is shared with fire and disaster departments and used for disaster preparedness.
This year, Metaview and New Vision Networks, selected through Public Procurement Service bidding, will hire 33 local youths over 8 months to build a 3D indoor spatial information database for 26 multi-use facilities and other locations.
Gyeongsangnam-do plans to provide necessary 2D/3D software education for this project and support field-oriented talent development education such as customized special lectures for employment and startup support in collaboration with Changwon National University and Gyeongnam Technopark.
As a side event, the provincial youth policy promotion team will introduce youth policies such as the Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Online Platform to participating youths.
