Gwangju Nambu Fire Department Selected as Heart and Trauma Saver
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 21st, the Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced that it awarded Heart and Trauma Saver certificates and badges to 8 paramedics who saved citizens' lives.
The Heart Saver certification is awarded to individuals who contributed to the revival of cardiac arrest patients through appropriate emergency treatment, while the Trauma Saver certification is given to those who contributed to proper treatment of patients classified as severe trauma, such as from traffic accidents.
The paramedics selected as Savers said, "Since emergency treatment within the golden time is crucial to increase the survival rate of critically ill patients, we will strive to improve emergency services to protect citizens' lives."
Lee Jeong-ja, head of the Nambu Fire Station, said, "I sincerely congratulate all paramedics who saved lives through swift and accurate emergency activities," and added, "I hope this selection serves as a stepping stone for you to continue doing your best for the safety and precious lives of citizens."
