Huawei "Easily Achieving Digital Transformation 'Last Mile' with Technology"
[Bangkok (Thailand) = Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] Huawei is accelerating the creation of a global information and communication technology (ICT) ecosystem. Through the 'Huawei Empower Program,' it supports the digital transformation of partner companies and plans to invest $300 million (approximately 416.5 billion KRW) over the next three years to build a talent pool.
On the 20th, Huawei unveiled various innovative infrastructure solutions leading digitalization at 'HUAWEI CONNECT 2022' held in Bangkok, Thailand.
ICT industry stakeholders attending the event discussed under the theme 'Innovative Infrastructure to Unleash Digital,' exploring the future directions and opportunities of digitalization. They analyzed various industrial challenges striving for digitalization and introduced Huawei solutions that support technical strengths to solve these challenges. They also revealed plans for creating a global digital ecosystem.
First, Ryan Ding, President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group, delivered the keynote speech introducing Huawei's vision under the theme 'Empowering Industry, Creating Value.' He said, "Advanced digital transformation helps companies better adapt to an ever-changing world," adding, "Huawei works closely with partners to find the right technologies for the right scenarios, supports customers' digital transformation, and helps unleash the power of digital."
Ding explained that Huawei leverages connectivity, computing, and cloud technologies to collaborate with partners, driving continuous innovation and synergy across multiple technologies, creating scenario-based solutions tailored to diverse customer needs. He emphasized that through this, customers can create greater value and more easily realize the 'last mile' of digital transformation.
Bob Chen, Vice President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group, explained the importance of synergy among various technologies in finding the right technology for the right scenario. In his keynote speech titled 'Innovative Digital Infrastructure Accelerates Digital Transformation,' Chen stated, "Data is the core of digital transformation, and data collection, transmission, storage, and analysis are critical stages. Huawei accelerates corporate digital innovation by providing a full-stack product portfolio for end-to-end data processing."
Data connectivity, transmission, and storage are key pillars in this process. Regarding data connectivity, Huawei has enhanced intelligent cloud network solutions including CloudFabric, CloudWAN, and CloudCampus. These solutions provide enterprises with an easy, fast, and streamlined experience.
For data transmission, Huawei is exploring ways to reshape industrial productivity by applying 5G Fixed Network (F5G), which is advancing across various industries. Additionally, it has launched various new products and solutions for all-optical bearing, networks, campuses, and sensing.
In terms of data storage, Huawei supports enterprises to maximize data utilization by building a data-centric and reliable storage foundation for six major data usage scenarios including production, transactions, data analysis, and information security.
Furthermore, Huawei announced the 'Huawei Empower Program' to support the global ecosystem. This program helps Huawei’s partners build three types of capabilities to provide better customer service: digital transformation consulting and planning, product and portfolio expertise, and solution development.

Through OpenLabs, Huawei promotes co-innovation with partners, empowering them with new frameworks, new plans, and integrated platforms. It plans to build a talent pool through the Huawei ICT Academy and Huawei Authorized Learning Partner (HALP). Huawei also announced it will invest $300 million in this program over the next three years to support global partners.
