[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City will distribute (accept applications for) tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 103rd National Sports Festival and the 42nd National Para Games starting from the 21st. Tickets are free, with a maximum of 2 tickets per person.
Tickets for the opening ceremony of the National Sports Festival, held at 4:30 PM on October 7 at Ulsan Sports Complex, can be received immediately by visiting the Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers in person starting from the 22nd.
From September 21 to 23, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the National Sports Festival website, and tickets will be distributed on-site on the day of the event.
If there are remaining tickets, they will be distributed on-site starting from 5:00 PM, which is 30 minutes after the event begins.
Also, for the closing ceremony of the National Sports Festival held at 5:30 PM on October 13 at Ulsan Sports Complex, the northern section can be entered on a first-come, first-served basis without tickets starting from 4:00 PM.
For the opening ceremony tickets of the National Para Games starting at 4:30 PM on October 19 at Ulsan Sports Complex, distribution will begin at Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers from October 4, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the National Sports Festival website from October 4 to 6, with tickets issued on the day of the event.
From 4:30 PM when the event starts, tickets will be distributed on-site only for available seats.
The closing ceremony of the National Para Games, starting at 3:30 PM on October 24 at Dongcheon Gymnasium, allows entry on a first-come, first-served basis without tickets starting from 2:00 PM.
The opening ceremonies of both events will include cultural performances, athlete parades, torch lighting, and official ceremonies followed by congratulatory performances, while the closing ceremonies will feature cultural performances, official ceremonies, and congratulatory performances.
A city official stated, “This year’s National (Para) Sports Festival is the largest sports event in Korea held at a normal scale for the first time in three years since the 2019 Seoul Festival, and it is especially meaningful as it is held in Ulsan for the first time in 17 years since 2005. We plan to hold the opening and closing ceremonies as festive occasions and ask for the active participation and interest of citizens.”
The 103rd National Sports Festival will be held from October 7 to 13 at 73 venues including Ulsan Sports Complex.
