About 80 people attended the event, including County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol, County Council Chairman Jo Samsul, Provincial Assemblyman Jang Jin-young, Sports Association President Kim Hae-eun, and the athletes. The ceremony included the return of the team flag, reporting of the team’s results, awards for meritorious associations and individual athletes, and commemorative photo sessions to encourage the athletes who achieved excellent results.
The delegation, consisting of 550 participants (379 athletes and 171 officials) competing in 22 events, swept 21 gold medals, 19 silver medals, and 32 bronze medals in individual and team competitions. They achieved first place overall in two events, second place overall in seven events, and third place overall in four events, excelling in many categories and raising the prestige of the county.
President Kim said, “I am grateful to the athletes, coaches, and association officials for their passionate participation throughout the competition period,” and added, “We will take this as an opportunity for our county’s sports to develop further and will do our best to achieve good results in the future.”
