View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) conducted safety training for personnel involved in construction work at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal on the 15th.
The authority prepared a customized training program for construction site workers in consultation with specialized safety organizations, including the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency and the Korea Industrial Safety Association.
The program consisted of topics closely related to construction site practices, such as ▲construction work risk assessment ▲criteria for calculation and use of industrial safety and health management expenses.
BPA aimed to raise awareness of safety-related regulations, improve practical safety and health skills, and spread a safety culture by encouraging not only in-house construction managers but also designers and contractors at sites deemed vulnerable to risks in projects implemented by BPA to participate in the training.
