This program is part of Kia's youth social contribution activity called ‘Kia Inspiring Class,’ specifically the career education support section. Participants will take a tour bus around major companies in Pangyo Techno Valley, a global convergence R&D hub, providing opportunities to explore career paths in future industries through lectures and Q&A sessions with business leaders.
Additionally, the program is designed to nurture talent in advanced industries in preparation for the changing future era in line with recent educational policy trends, supporting the development of human resources related to the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Among the eight sessions planned by Kia through December, the ‘Company Visit’ segment involves touring key institutions and companies by bus, with docents providing educational explanations about the companies’ founding stories and other informative content. Other activities include talk concerts with startup CEOs and key stakeholders, introductions to the startup ecosystem, and hands-on experiences at the Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley Corporate Support Hub (Startup Zone) facilities.
On the 16th, middle school students visiting the information security company AhnLab for the first company tour attended special lectures by in-house experts and heard real stories from developers. A KakaoBank tour is scheduled for November 25.
Applications are being accepted until the 26th via QR codes on posters distributed to middle schools nationwide, with group applications by class (up to 40 students) prioritized for rural and agricultural/fishing villages.
